In 1971, people in the surrounding areas broke down the fence of an old military barracks and used the space as a playground for their children. It evolved into this self-governing sort of anarchist society independent of the Danish state. Free use of drugs has caused problems over the years - not just from authorities - with people dying of overdoses. Even after hard drugs were banned, the cannabis trade attracted biker gangs and led to violence. Today, it has a relaxed hippyish feel. Many residents have built their own houses and the whole place is decorated with bright paint, flowers and trees.

The Hindenburg was an enormous airship - roughly the same size as Titanic - that used to make regular trips across the Atlantic. It first flew in 1936 and used hydrogen to stay in the air like a massive balloon. Hydrogen is really flammable and when it caught fire in 1937 the whole thing burned in less than 2 minutes. Amazingly, 62 of the 97 people on board survived. I can’t believe this thing actually existed.

About 9 months ago I quit my job and had a go at s About 9 months ago I quit my job and had a go at starting my own business. This is the first month where I've made more money than I would have working there.
